Before time gets away from me I will post photos from our Thanksgiving trip to Nebraska. We all had a blast and ate way too much. Our "first" dinner was at Aunt Susan's east of Dannebrog and our "second" was at Sally's in Kearney. Rogue ate sweet and mashed potatoes but didn't so much like the cranberry sauce! After trying "Thanksgiving food" Aidan eventually ended up eating some peanut butter and crackers--whatever works--right?! It was cold and blustery all weekend but the boys managed to fix fence and move cows around anyway. Brie and I painted in the master bedroom at the old farmhouse while Aidan and Rhogan entertained everyone at Grandma and Grandpa's. When we got home late Saturday night it was snowing....in my eyes, the perfect end to a great weekend!

Halloween at the Mingus House:
Aidan wore 2 different costumes and loved them both (Jasmine and TinkerBell)...she unlike her older sister loves to dress up so I'm sure this is just the beginning! We also learned how much she likes candy. I'm thinking we could use this to our advantage with potty training...
Rhogan had one costume, that I made, and he didn't really like it so much. I had no idea how ridiculous it looked until I saw him in these pictures. He was supposed to be Abu from Aladdin, but he ended up looking like a goofy flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz...
Saxon ran around with his junior high buds and scored a lot of candy...
Brie was m.i.a. all night with her friends, sort of trick or treating (but came home with no candy), walking around, being silly and just hanging out...
Roy and I had a good time "running" the cemetary and talking with the neighbors

Pumpkin patch time again...
but this time we have a new addition. It's Rhogan's first visit and he enjoyed it (we think)! The whole Seaberg clan ventured to Schaake's outside Lawrence to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Sax left early to go to World's of Fun with his friends, but stayed long enough to let me snap some pics of him having fun with his sibs.

COMPARISONS:
Because it's fun...here are comparison photos of the kids. Aidan reminds me of Brie more and more personality-wise, so it's funny to see them do similar acts in photos even tho in this one there is a year gap between their ages. And I'm glad I kept clothes of Saxon's...Rhogan wears several of Saxon's keepsakes including this Mickey Mouse sweat outfit...

New Mingus Updates:
Where do I start?!...
• Brie finished her Jr. High volleyball career with her team going 24-7 for the season.Yay Bulldogs!
Grammers and Papa Mingus came to visit
• Grandma and Grandaddy Seaberg and Missy, Kyle and CJ met us at games
• Sax got to play football in/on the K-State football field...where he made a tackle and came out with a dislocated ring finger and a broken pinky (emergency room visit #1)
Rhogan turned 7 mos. old on October 4th
Rhogan started crawling on October 5th...yikes!
• Aidan is obsessed with doing "homework", watching the squirrels in the backyard and making up stories about them and sleeping in her big sister's room every night
• October 10th we took Rogi to the ER in Lawrence...find out he just had a virus and a weird virusy rash (emergency room visit #2)
• Our house got TPed over the weekend...which happens these days when other kids "like" your kids...very different from when I was young (boy I sound like an old woman!)Roy had fun saving as many rolls as he could find that weren't mangled.

That's about it I think...I'm sure I've left something out!
Love, L

A weekly update:
Fall sports is in full swing for us and the last 2 weeks have been super busy! Saxon's football team is still undefeated and Brie's VB team has only lost to a few teams so far. I can't believe it's almost October...where did the time go?! More updates later-must go get the little ones ready for the day...the big ones have already left on the bus :)
Love to all, Lori Lynn

7th grade football
has offically started! GO SOUTHWEST! None of us could remember the final score. It was something like 38-0...we won! They weren't running the score board, Aidan was running around with a lot of little boys, Rhogan was being shuffled around, Mom and Dad showed up and we were trying to figure out how to get Brie from her volleyball game. Fun stuff! :) It rained a misty English-like rain most of the game. Sunday we will play West which is the other team where most of last years Hurricanes team goes to school. It'll be a hard one!
